TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint) Therapy

The TMJ is a complicated joint that usually involves a coordinated approach involving several health disciplines. Our Physiotherapists assess the biomechanical function of the jaw and subsequent treatments are directed at restoring normal joint motion. This evaluation will also help to determine the extent to which the cervical spine and its associated muscles are impacting TMJ.

Neuro Rehabilitation

Individualized goals are determined upon intake to the program and reassessed throughout treatment. This program provides maximal functional recovery for patients with a broad range of neurological impairments

Balance and Vertigo Therapy

Dizziness and imbalance are common complaints heard by family physicians. Sometimes dizziness and imbalance are caused by disease, recent medications or injury affecting the inner ear and/or its connections to the brain. Our Physiotherapists with specialized training in Vestibular Rehabilitation can help restore the balance through rehab.

Spinal Stabilization

Physiotherapy of the spine involves an initial evaluation of the patient to determine the nature of the dysfunction and to what extent the patient can assist in their recovery. Manual therapy and mobilization  of the spinal joints and tissues, accompanied by appropriate exercises are designed to restore normal biomechanical motion in the spinal segments. Treatment is individualized and tailored to each patient’s unique needs with the ultimate goal of achieving independence.
